Windows 10 Security Protection Threat

Current status

Microsoft has removed the Security Protection detection, see below for more information.

Windows 10 Security Protection version 1.309.1077.0 reports a Severe security Threat detected: Trojan:Win32/Detplock in the 64-bit version of ScanDir beta 1.3.4 build 1413.
Since I believe that this is a false positive I have submitted ScanDir to Microsoft for further investigation.
This page will be updated as soon as more information is available.

ScanDir beta 1.3.4 build 1416 has been released. The build is identical to build 1413, only the build number was changed, but Windows 10 no longer issues a Security Protection warning after changing the build number.

Additional information

ScanDir is develeoped on a dedicated PC using RAD Studio Delphi XE7, so the chance that ScanDir is infected is relatively small. Furthermore, the Security Thread is only reported on the 64-bit version of ScanDir and NOT on the 32-bit version. However, both versions share the same sourcecode and are compiled using the same Delphi compiler.
